Join us on Thursday, May 25 at 7 p.m. to hear our April speaker, Derek Barr from the Provincial Capital Commission Forestry and Horticulture division continue with more advice for your trees, shrubs, and woody perennials. Derek is also the current Director of Saskatchewan to the International Society of Arboriculture Prairie Chapter. He is an ISA Certified Arborist and TRAQ Qualified and is also working as a Municipal Arborist. He obtained a Diploma in Commercial Forestry from Sir Sandford Fleming College.

Most folks know that all of the trees in Regina were planted by hand; none grew naturally. The current drought and various pests and fungal infections have taken a toll on our urban forest. What trees make good choices for our current climate?
