With refreshments served following the event, it’s a great time for socializing with fellow gardening enthusiasts!
Annual Plant Sale
Over 1000 plants offered at the RHS Annual Fundraising Plant Sale
Our members contribute over 1000 plants to the RHS annual fundraising plant sale! It is a fabulous opportunity for members to tap into the unique and varied plants grown by fellow members. Ranging from perennials, annuals, heritage tomatoes, lilies, herbs, house plants and specialty plant material, our members make the RHS possible as this is a key fundraising activity for the society.
Annual Garden Festival
Strut Your Gardening Stuff
Every summer, the RHS offers its members the opportunity to showcase their gardening enterprises, be it flowers, vegetables, fruits, produce, preserves or…invasive weeds. That is not a typo, we want members to display their best and pests. The garden festival is an event where our members and the public can bring their plant questions, discuss gardening issues, learn new skills or simply admire the accomplishments of other gardeners.
Members Only Garden Tour!
Our members are great gardeners! Nothing beats having the opportunity to showcase your passion for gardening with other members who can truly appreciate your space, be in small or large and whatever flavour of gardening you do. And as a members only event (but bring a guest for a nominal admission fee) it is truly a special event to appreciate gardening enterprises of all kinds.
Contribute, Mentor, Gain New Skills, Make New Connections
Volunteering is very rewarding. And each of us has different skills that can be beneficial to a non-profit organization like the RHS. Volunteering is a great way to mentor and contribute skills and knowledge to others but also to learn new skills, foster new relationships and networking, The RHS offers a variety of volunteer opportunities from participating as a Board member, special projects, and presenting at educational events or workshops.
Learn and Apply New Skills
As an RHS member, you can learn new skills by participating in special projects and events that the RHS undertakes. It might be helping to plan, organizing, or even leading, gaining new experiences that can be useful in other parts of your personal or professional arenas.
